Over the past 3 days I've been teaching the Double Your Dating LIVE! Seminar in New York... and it was an amazing experience.

There were guys who flew in from all over the world sharing and learning together.

And, of course, I always learn so much by teaching and interacting with a great group of guys. This program was no exception...

One of the things that we talked over and discussed a lot was the idea of why women feel ATTRACTION for some men while NOT feeling it for others (even though the men that a woman feels ATTRACTION for might not be good choices for her because they're abusive, etc.).

If you recall, one of the concepts that I teach goes something like this:

ATTRACTION isn't something that is logically chosen.

ATTRACTION is basically an EMOTIONAL RESPONSE to certain cues and behaviors.

One of the things I've isolated that seems to cause women to feel this magical ATTRACTION to men is the idea that I call being *Cocky & Funny*.
Boy, all that was a crock of you-know-what.

But my point is, I kept getting MOWED OVER and kept CRASHING like crazy with every woman I met, NEVER questioning my beliefs.....that is, until it just became TOO MUCH TO BEAR. In that MOMENT, something AWESOME happened: There was a DEATH.
And there was a REBIRTH.

The old Michael was dead. I finally tossed away all those old beliefs I had about women which were keeping me down. They crumbled to the ground, left behind forever. And in their place, rising from the ashes, came a whole new person, ironically, the person I TRULY was, my real self- the self that not only didn't WANT to take abuse from women, but simply never WOULD take that abuse again.

Keep in mind that nothing gets done in a day. But if you plan to make changes and follow that plan, you will be successful in more than just dating.

Being overweight or out of physical shape is a sign of our times. Changes in diet and exercise are a fact of life in these trying times of fast food and faster lifestyles. This is a one day at a time category. Start with short walks that get a little longer on a weekly basis. Visit your doctor for suggestions on what you should do and how you should do it. Not everyone can afford to join a gym or have a personal trainer. If these options are available to you great. If not, plan a physical exercise schedule for yourself from books, newspaper articles, and, of course, by what you can find online. The internet has a wealth of fitness websites for you to get the helpful information and support you may need.

A terrible gift has long been a sign of impending breakup. I've heard dozens of stories of three- and four-year relationships that ended bluntly following a bizarrely bad gift exchange. It wasn't the gift that ended the relationship, it was merely a sign of things to come.

Of course, a bad gift doesn't always have to mean your paramour is planning to dump you like last week's spaghetti once January hits. It could just mean that your sweetie's madly in love with you, but has really horrific taste -- just maybe, you can look forward to many, many years of individually-wrapped-in-cellophane roses, radio-controlled cars, sausage-of-the-month clubs and green plastic phones.

Historically, women have been *modest* and have been the ones who regulated sex.* A man *courted* a woman, and then if a woman accepted, they got together and had sex. (or got married, etc.) Today, however, in the quest for equality, women are actually LOWERING their standards when it comes to sex. Less idealism. Women have actually tried to BECOME men in this sense. That's also why you can talk so much more rough to women today, and not only will they take it, but they will probably respect you more, since after all, women are supposed to be equal to men now, and don't need to be treated special, right?

I don't know about you, but I kind of liked the chivalry thing a bit. You have to be real careful with that today though or you may risk being labeled a weak , submissive loser. Now, men have ALWAYS wanted sex to be easier. It was WOMEN who were the ones who made men *earn* it by courting, etc.
